    This guy is blowing smoke, or has no conception of reality. What he really wants is long-term control of their oil. Iraq first must establish themselves as a stabile government, not one we installed. The Korea model did not work in Vietnam because it was a war of independence. That is what this is shaping up to be. Only we are the ones they want gone.

    If a democracy or republic cannot take hold, grow and thrive within their own indigenous environs without being sustained ad infinitum, (read: propped up), what in fact is being propagated?
