So I read somewhere that when you buy your iPhone at Best Buy you have the option to purchase their in house extended warranty and that this will cover any accidents/breakage as well as any regular manufactures defects. Is this correct?

I would think it would be to good to be true to have this cover any accidental issues such as dropping your phone.

That is correct. I could not believe it at first but my friend got a refurbished 3G (better than getting rejected) for his "accidental" cracked glass drop on the sidewalk.

So it seems like a no brainer to buy at best buy just as longer as the price of the coverage isnt anything crazy.
