Nope. All apple products will be the least expensive in the US

I wouldn't think it would be. But you should probably see for yourself, you might not even find any, but I'm not sure.

I think Hongkong did not have sales tax. Not sure how much, it will save though. If it only save $10 bucks, then it is just too much of the hassle. :). I plan to get 5 itouch as a gift.

I think I did the math earlier and I think tax (7%) was $16 (8GB), but I'm not sure. If you are buying 5, then it'll actually probably be worth it. That's $80 you might save, depending on what price they are.

Apple's Hong Kong Website list the prices as

    8g (HK$1,788) (appx US$230.45)

    32gb (HK$2,288) (appx US$294.89)

    64gb (HK$3,088) (appx US$397.99)

So apart from the 8g model being slightly more expensive, the rest are just marginally cheaper. I supposed if the exchange rate swings one way or the other, you may save some money or pay a little more.

Awesome Sauce. So if you were to get 5, you would save around $80 in tax. I think it would be worth it if you're already there.

Well, HK does not charge taxes, so theoretically speaking, if I buy the 8GB in HK I can be saving $20. $230 in HK v $250 in US (NY) after taxes.

    Great comparison.

I will most likely get the 8GB one. It cost too much to get 5 of 32GB.

Hopefully by the time I got back to US, I will not be charge sales tax in the airport. ;)

Yeah, I was about to say about Sales Tax when you arrive back into US soil. I know if you bring one in, it might be easy to get away with it but 5 seems a little too much to get away from the customs people.
