I have a question - does anyone know if there is an actual list of cabinet member nominees anywhere, or are some of them not appointed to the open positions yet?

Dunno if this will help, but:

As I understand it, it is common for cabinet members to (pro forma?) offer their resignations at the end of a term. These resignations may or may not be accepted.

For those resignations accepted, there are lists of possible nominees for each position, but these are closely held in order to avoid any embarrassment to those who don't make the cut.

So: No nominee is official until the White House sends the name to the Senate for confirmation. There's lots of speculation, of course. It's a major game inside the Beltway as well as on the Sunday morning chatter-shows.

SFAIK, there's no complete list made public ahead of the final selection into the confirmation process.
