Does not show: all-day events, birthdays (why, Apple, whyyyyy????? )

That's basically why I ended up going with 3rd party widgets for those, like Agenda+ and Reminder+.

That although I would like to see one of the apps coming up with a (better) support for Google calendar and showing travel times in the widget for Google calendar. See also this post from me.
