Camera Roll is missing?

Has anyone noticed that camera roll is missing? I can't find the photos that I've taken myself, or saved from Safari - there's and album called saved photos but it's missing almost all of what was in my camera roll.

Plugging my phone into my Mac, and Image Capture sees everything like it should, so I'm guessing this is a bug. Anyone else see this?

The main camera roll is under Photos now, not under albums.
You can now sort by Years, Months, Days, or All Photos.

Well that’s annoying - now they’re all mixed in with the photos I’ve synced from my Mac. This will be interesting.

Very annoying indeed, but they are there. I don't sync with my Mac, so I cannot say if it will mess up anything.
I send all my photos to my OneDrive account as I have 1.5TB of space there.

Yes. It's replacement was called recent or something like that. It was redundant honestly. It's the first beta so don't get too concerned yet. I'm sure they will make adjustments. :)

I’m not concerned at all. The OP makes it sound like it was just removed in iOS 13

It depends on what your settings are. If you disable 'iCloud Photos' under photos settings you still have it. For me in the Photos app under "Albums" the first entry for me is "Camera Roll" with iOS 12.

The Photos app is a mess. Why can’t we have a simple stand-alone Gallery? I’d gladly take that and use a secondary application for editing, etc.
 
Ugn, just put the beta on my phone and this is really killing my love for iOS 13. I don't use or want to use iCloud photos and I need the camera roll for the way I manage my photos. Now its all a huge mess mixed in with everything I've synced.
