Several years ago (in 2017) I filed a feedback in the Feedback Assistant about how the ability to add geographic coordinates as the location for an event in Calendar had gone away. It had used to be something one could enter.

This problem showed up in later version of macOS Sierra. None of the subsequent major updates fixed this. Until now. I just decided to try:
This can be useful, if you want to arrange a meeting with someone at a state park, for example. You can set the appointment to the precise picnic table, if it’s visible in satellite view. Full disclosure, I have found that it’s easiest to get those coordinates from maps.google.com.
