Can I easily transfer Windows iTunes saved on DVD to my new Mac?

Hello. My Windows laptop has died but files were rescued from it and put on DVD, including iTunes. I bought a Mac Book as a replacement and asked in the Apple shop about transferring iTunes, but they said there could be lots of glitches and I would need to ask a Mac expert. Does anyone know if I can easily move my iTunes onto my new Mac? Most of my music was uploaded rather than downloaded and my old Windows pc is now kaput, I only have the DVD. Help!

Should be fine. They're just music files. Just add them to your itunes and you should be set.

Thanks for that, I've transferred them again and am now happily reunited with my iTunes
