Is it okay to take an iPhone into an environment that is hot and steamy?
Removed "helpful" information, OP doesn't want it apparently.
So when its summer in the southeast and its 100 degrees outside with 100% humidity, leave the phone home...????
If you live in a country like this you have no choice if you want the iPhone, clearly.
I wouldn't go taking it into a steam room or sauna, that's just stupid.
I was in Malta where the temperature was 35C - 38C with a humidity of 85% - 95% and it was horrible in the midday sun but i would have used a phone there no problem. Just don't leave it or use it in direct sunlight.
Wow thats bad weather. If your spending a long time in it I would leave it at room (like less then 15 minutes)
Really, you need to ask this?
"very humid" as in Costa Rica in summer or like a steam-room? Don't take it in the steam room.
get a lifeproof... great case.
OP said "Thanks" to your post. What are you talking about?
Even just having the phone in the bathroom with you while you shower can cause the moisture indicators to turn red, invalidating much service you might expect to receive at a Genius Bar.
I have the same Q
Just get the life proof case. You can take your iPhone wherever you want. I love my life proof case!
