Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPad; CPU OS 5_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9B176 Safari/7534.48.3)

I don't want to screw up the phone, but I just got a iPad and don't want 2 chargers and cords laying around. Would it charge the iPhone quicker since its bigger, or screw it up and overheat it somehow?

You can use the iPad charger to charge your iPhone without any problems.

...and as a bonus, it charges the iPhone 20% faster as well.

Agree with everyone here. I have been charging my iPhone with the iPad charger since the ipad1 was launched. No issues.
