Thank you for reading this. I'm still pretty new to Macs/my G5 PowerMac 2.7. (I don't even know what the 2.7 means; sorry.)

I would like my computer to turn itself on Monday through Friday at 5:00 a.m. I've looked around the system control stuff but can't find anything like that. Is it possible?

Thank you for your comments.

The 2.7 is the GHz rating of the processor(s).

As for "turning itself on", go to System Preferences>Energy Saver>Options>Schedule, click the box next to Start up or Wake, and select days and times as you wish, then click OK.
System Prefs is easiest to locate by clicking on the blue apple in the MenuBar (the white strip at the top of the screen)...

Sorry if I'm overdoing the explanation: I'm not sure quite how new you are to Macs. :)

Skunk, I really appreciate your explanation. There's no such think as over-explaining to me. I feel like I should have found all of that already. Oh, well. Thank you.
