If it's about falling safely then they'd be much better off taking a Judo class or 3. Too much risk of getting really hurt trying to learn parkour.

I don’t need to jump from one stupid thing to another to learn to fall.
I learned to fall in bars and to fail in the back seat of a car like all normal red blooded American boys.

Just reading the title made me smile and then laugh; product of a vivid imagination and pensioners jumping like lemmings...... But seriously, practice Tai Chi and learn how to maintain balance and avoid falls.

I'd think something like stuntman training would be best. As there would be a lot of focus on taking falls safely. Not just from falling over but from bikes, motorcycles, horses, heights, &c.

Any sort of physical activity where you fall a lot you'll learn to take a fall. Although it would be better if the training involved an instructor and safety equipment. Rather than trial and error over concrete.
