I'm looking to buy a 2011 MBA 11-inch base model.
I'm just wondering if someone could give me a comparison of the size of the screen, say to a piece of printer paper?
Or maybe to an iPad?
Thanks a lot!

I wish I had an Apple store nearby. I have a certified Apple retailer right down the street, but they're closed today.
I just want to get a good idea before I go there.

Looking at the dimensions listed under technical specs isn't very useful I feel. On paper, it doesn't seem like that much, but in reality it makes a lot of difference when you're holding it.

Anyway to answer the OP's question, here's a comparison picture. Seems to be like a longer iPad.
