If I bought this monitor, would I be able to connect my late 2013 MB Pro via Thunderbolt 2? (Using the Thunderbolt 2 to 3 adapter?)

I’m debating whether to get the above monitor and daisy chain to this cheaper version https://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=1FH47AT&opt=ABU&sel=MTO

or just get two of the cheaper model and buy this dock http://shop.caldigit.com/uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=192

I’m not too bothered about 4K or ultrawide displays and I need the above setup to also be compatible with my Windows laptop I use for work (USB-C)

A TB 2 to 3 adapter will let you connect TB 3 peripherals on a TB 2 Mac (at TB 2 speeds of course), but not regular USB-C peripherals such as this monitor. And there is no such thing as daisy-chaining USB-C displays.

Thanks, so what should I be looking for in a monitor for my MB over Thunderbolt 2? Or will the cal digit dock be a better option?

EDIT - HP advertise daisy chaining the more expensive model using the DisplayPort out on one monitor to DisplayPort in on the second one
