iPhone Can we go back to 11.0.2 from 11.1 beta w/o losing data?

I'm guessing 11.1 backups won't restore to 11.0? Maybe a shift downgrade would work? Only way to know is if someone tries it.

Do a thorough backup. Put iPhone into recovery mode by turning off device then connect the device to a computer while holding down home for older device or volume down for 7 and iTunes will detect it is in recovery mode. Select "Update" only and iTunes will attempt to downgrade while preserving data. The backup is just in case it fails.

Yes, you'll need the 11.0.2 ipsw. My phone is going thru the procedure as of this message.

I downgraded my iPad from 11.1 beta to 11.0.1 and had all sorts of weird issues.

Ended up restoring from the last backup I made on 11.0.1.

    My suggestion: don't.

zorinlynx was right, quite a few quirks on first boot. I'm downloading the beta ipsw and restoring the backup. Guess I'll have to wait for Beta 2 next week

How can I do clean install to 11.0.2 from 11.1 PB?
