Can you control the keyboard brightness on a MBP with the Apple BT keyboard?

The Apple BT keyboard doesn't seem to support adjusting the MBP's keyboard brightness with F5 and F6.

Granted, it's a really useless function but I was curious...is there a way? Maybe I've had too many beers...

Haha, pretty sure you can't do that. I know I can't with my apple wired keyboard

Thanks. You know, I'd love to see a wireless BT w/backlit keys. Would look great in a dim room.

Battery life would be unsurprisingly abysmal.

True, but I can't imagine it being as thin as the current one. Although when it comes to Apple stuff, anything is possible.

I've thought about that. I'm curious to know how far below the MBP the backlighting system is. Seems like it would be a pretty thin array of lighting and a small controller.
