Can you transfer unlimited data plan from iPad 2 to another iPad 2 or the iPad 1?

i know you can transfer it from the first iPad to the iPad 2, but I just wanted to make sure it works vice versa.

i ask because i just bought an iPad 2, and am about to sell the iPad 1. i think I am going to sell the unlimited data plan sim card (currently in the original iPad), but I'm not sure yet. If i call up AT&T and xfer the data plan to the iPad 2, would I still be able to sell it in the future for other iPads or iPad 2's?

i'm pretty sure the answer is yes, but i just wanted to make sure
