can you use konfabulator widgets in dashboard?

but is there a way to import other widgets in dashboard?

like ones from konfabulator.com

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say no, there's currently no way to do this. The Konfabulator folks certainly aren't going to make this easy to do (since it would only hasten their slow demise), and Apple is probably wary of being sued. It'll be up to some third-party to create a program that converts widgets from Konfabulator to Dashboard.

bssst wrong.. the konfabulator widgets are made using XML + javascript

the widgets for dashboard are HTML+CSS+JAVASCRIPT

you'd have to take the xml file and any javascript related to manipulating that xml data and convert it.. basically the entire freakin widget minus functions that are in javascript.. might be a nice base start part with pictures and all.. but the coding is going to be about 80% different.
