Can you use the pwngetool custom unlocking firmware on several phones?

For instance if I made the custom 4.1 firmware with the 06.15.00 baseband for an iphone 3g, can I use that same firmware for another 3g? Or do I actually have to make a new one for each 3g? I would think that if you could reuse the custom made firmware then it would've been uploaded by now to save everyone the process of making it, but just want to be sure.

They can be used on many iDevices. Just make sure it's the same kind and the proper version.
