iPod touch Cannot delete cache from new touch

i have the latest touch, and have never been able to delete the cache. no matter how many times i delete history, cookies and cache, i can always just use the back arrow to view sites! PLEASE HELP! I have looked all over the web and found nothing...It cant be just me having this problem?

It sounds like the cache isn't cleared for any open tabs -- try closing all tabs before deleting the cache.

Look in your bookmarks for History and try clearing it from there.
