Hello everyone, trying to forward port 80 from my airport extreme to my VM for a website that i made as a test.

I went to port forward and put

Public TCP: 80
IP adress (My VM IP adress)
Private TCP port 80

Then i saved my config

Workes fine from my lan but not from the WAN

I semi made it work by putting Public port 8080 and private 80

So i typed it : WanIP:8080 and i got to my page

But when i tried to change pages it reverted to 80 and i wasn<T able to access it any more

Can anyone help me?

One thing, make sure your isp does not do any weird port 80 blocking.

Second your web browser should automatically carry forward the port, maybe it is not and you need to manual add 8080 to each page link.

It might be better to just make your vm port 8080 and your public port 8080. It is how I do testing with MAMP.
