iPod touch Cannot get on iPod

Hey I used spiritjb on my iPod and forgot to sync before and cannot restore to factory settings because the internet is not letting me use itunes so i thought, hey, isnt there a restore button on my iPod in the settings? I pressed that and it said it would take about an hour to restore, here I am, a week later, trying to figure out what to do, is still waiting for it to restore. Matter of fact it's stuck with the Apple logo on the screen and a loading sign under it. Any suggestions on what to do besides holding home and power button?

Put it in DFU mode and try from there.

Im sorry But even my experienced self can not give you a definent answer as i have never seen a case like this but by the sounds of it ur iPod is busted!

Put it in DFU mode and try from there.

If this doesnt work then it is busted. You could trade it in for a refurb, but it will cost you something.
