cannot read time machine backup in Windows using Mac Drive

I always backup my iMac using Time Machine. Now I sold the iMac and trying to retrieve those backups in Windows using Mac Drive but without success. I can see all the files but they are all 0 KB. And folders such as Documents, Movies, Pictures, they all become a file instead of a folder.

Has anyone figure out how to retrieve these Time Machine backups from Windows? If so please help, thanks in advance.
