havent been able to see the video you posted (utube is blocked at my office) but as far as my understanding goes, changing icons are only available if ur device is jailbroken...

Are you sure there is no getting around that? I have to download a bunch of stuff to jailbreak and my connection is slow as hell.

Uh?? What can you really customize in iOS?
Enlighten me, I would also like to do it in my iPhone 4.
chk screenshots for example. thats just tip of the iceberg my friend. this is my current setup. everything in there has been customized by me. the 2-3 stock things u see in there are there, because i wanted them to be there.

Nope, it was definitely possible under iOS 5 without jailbreaking - I did it myself to replace some non-retina icons with retina versions I made.

I haven't had time to test iOS6 yet.

THAT was bragging about how awesome and good-looking JB'ing customizations are? Yikes!

He's not rebooting because there is something wrong with the phone. When JBing, when you make a systems change you have to respring the phone, respringing is like a soft reboot as opposed to turnign the phone off and on, but since he isn't JBen the only thing he can do is a full reboot.

Absolutely. Beautiful, in my eyes.
Good. I'm glad you like it.

Yup, every time I'm tempted to do so I take a look at the awesome JB screens...and by "awesome" I mean it looks like someone at the worst UI's ever and vomited them onto the phone.
