well i just installed Tiger, and i thought i should use a different password. so i thought one up and away i went...

then i came to install some stuff about 30 minutes later and wouldn't you know it i had forgot the password...

so i followed this KB article > http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.4/en/mh655.html
and i used the Tiger install disk to reset the root password as well as my account password.

now that article said:
Be sure to change your login password in Keychain Access to match your new password.
but i can't change the "login" password because it seems to need the old password? it's not accepting the new password that i set my account to?

any ideas?

well... i got impatient so i just deleted the keychain. at least there weren't many items in there. but just for future reference i'd like to know if there's a way to save the items and change the password.
