Can't create disk image with FCS2

Ok, so I bought myself Final Cut Studio 2 (quite the investment) and as I do with all my software I went to make images of the disks to store on my external HD so I could have the installers with me wherever my drive went. Low and behold the disks have been mastered with faulty sectors so they never completely image in Disk Utility. Any ideas on how to get a workable image from these disks?

do you have toast titanium>??< maybe that could have better results
