cant enable cookies

Everything was working fine and then one day i tried to acess my hotmail acount and it said i had cookies disabled, so i went and checked and it says they are enabled, but msn still says they arent, what the deal? I have tried IE and safari..... neither work, BUT when i use msn messanger I can checl my hotmail from there and it opens up safari... please help

It's an unlikely fix but have you tried repairing disk permissions?
