I have an encrypted disk I sometimes mount with my iPhone or iPad to access its files. Since updating my iPhone to iOS 15.2.1 I can no longer mount the disk - it appears in the Files app and prompts me for my password when I try to mount it, but after entering my password the disk remains unmounted. 15.3 hasn’t fixed it. I’m still running iPadOS 15.2 on my iPad and it’s still able to mount the disk and access my files, and I’m reluctant to update it to 15.3 and risk losing access to my files.

Is anybody else experiencing this too?

TBH I dont even know you can mount APFS encrypted volume.
Maybe you could try to provide some external power to your drive? Idk. Just guessing.

Have you tried an unencrypted drive?
