Cant use data while on phone call - Verizon 6S

Ever since I put iOS 11 on, my phone has been terrible over LTE.. somewtimes with full reception and LTE, I can't even pull up web pages.

I have discovered today that I cannot use my iPhone 6S over cellular while on the phone.

Why is this? I never used to have this problem.

If you don't have Voice over LTE (VoLTE) enabled, or are in an area where it's not supported, you can't use data while on the phone with Verizon.

I have LTE service, I live about 30 miles outside of NYC.

Check to be sure the voice over LTE setting is still enabled in your phone.

If those don’t work may have to reset Network Settings.. will require WiFi passwords again.

Is anyone else having terrible LTE speeds on the iPhone 6s with Verizon since updating?
