Hi All

I know this is listed as incompatible in the sticky, and there is a beta available. Just wondered if anyone has successfully used the beta with Mojave in anger?

I want to clone my existing Mojave daily driver (which was installed over HS), install Mojave from scratch, and then copy data back. I have a time machine backup and various other data backups should the proverbial hit the fan, but just wanted to check

Thanks.

Hi MrGimper
I've sent a mail to CCC just after Ive made the update from High Sierra to Mojave because CCC didn't work anymore.
They sent me a link to update the Beta Version 5.1.3-b1 (5432).
This version runs now perfectly for me on my 3 SSD AND DDE for backing up.

Thanks, but have you tried booting from your cloned copy, or even cloning back to the internal drive?

Hi MrGimper,
no problem, I've just finished to do a test for you.
My computer starts more quickly on the SSD ( back up with CCC ) I chose for this test.
I'm now coming back with my main system on my computer and all is OK.
My computer is a 21.5" iMac end 2017 - fusion drive with 16Gb RAM and 4K screen.
regards

Same here.

Downloaded & installed Mojave on a MacAir external disk, got tired of lugging the hardware clutter around and did a CCC to the Mac Air with CCC beta.
Booted like a charm.
