Apple is a trend setter :D

Check this phone out. The shell remind me of a MacBook.

I'm having a really hard time deciding whether I think that phone is sleek and post-modern or poorly thought out and ugly. I don't mean that as sarcasm...I'm just somewhat not sure.

And heh...with my infamous hot pink keyboard cover, my magenta RAZR does just fine matching my iBook as is. :D

I think its kinda ugly. I do like that new Samsung candybar phone T-Mobile has (T509 maybe?)

I just spent more than 400 on a SE w810i, I'm set for a couple years.

I'd get the phone with my new Macbook 2.0 ghz White ... :D ...
think it looks pretty sleek ... got andonized aluminium on the outside with apple white inside ... :D
Macbook and this phone ... prefect ... ;) lol

And I didn't mean to spam or something ... just thought I'd share what I found .. :)
later,
Nial.

Sorry... sometimes we're (or maybe it's just that I am) skeptical of members whose first post is about checking out a new product that may or may not be mac related. :D Anyway, I like the buttons on the phone.

Here is the phone to complement a white MacBook: Sony Ericsson Z520i

Small, very affordable, great looking, nice UI, syncs addressed and iCal info flawlessly over Bluetooth, etc. etc.

I got one recently to complement my iBook, but I guess it will look even better with a white MacBook... I'll let you know when my arrives... ;)

I wanted to get a W900i a few months ago... they come in black or white so would suit the MacBooks perfectly. Unfortunately they only made it onto one of the UK phone networks and not my one.

My friends got that in white - it's nice, but it's a giant beast of a thing. If they only made the W810i in white it would match well, and not be brick sized.

The older version of that one (W800i) is white, but has a minging orange strip all around the sides. :barf:

Yeah the W900i is pretty chunky but it's quite well featured. I prefer clamshell designs actually but Sony Ericsson don't seem to make many. The Z520i doesn't really appeal that much to me. Not sure about that Samsung. I'd prefer to stick to SE. Hmmm.

Ah, just like the white MacBook. :p *ducks and runs*

Unless he's a major player at Samsung, I wouldn't worry about it. ;)

Anyway, Samsung is making a lot of nice phones. Too bad they don't all show up on the phone compatibility list on Apple's website. I always feel limited to Sony Ericsson, Motorola, and Nokia.

I was going to get the w900i, but it's not quadband, which I need for Cingular. But its probably a good thing because I don't want to spend that kind of money on a phone and opted for the cheaper w810i instead

Ooh, it's horrid, innit. And it has some sort of textured hideousness going on around the top.

You mean Samsung phones don't work with iSync ??
I hope you're wrong. I really wanna get that phone ... :(

What about for people with blackBooks?

I think this one fits the bill quite nicely... :D

I think that Samsung e870 looks kinda on the ugly side, but the large numeric pad will please people who hate the little buttons they put on mobiles these days.

Looks like an iPod and Creative Zen Micro had too much to drink, got down and dirty, and produced that bastard child of an offspring.
