Changing 'iPod' on the top of my iPod Touch

Does anyone know how to do this WITHOUT Customize? I tried to mess around with Customize and after i turned my iPod off it would not come back on. Had to do a full restore and re-jailbreak, so i would appreciate it if i didn't have to use Customize!

I downloaded MakeItMine via Cydia to change that text, and it worked great, it sticks after a reboot. Maybe give that a try.
