iPod touch Changing volume and play controls without unlocking.

This maybe news to some people and common knowledge to others but I thought it would be useful to post none the less.

To change the volume and pause tracks etc without using the slide to unlock double tap the circle button and the controls show on the screen.

Yeah i'm one for not reading the manual and I know other people are exactly the same
