I have an unlocked iPhone 5 and I will be in London for a little over a week. I was wondering what is the best and cheapest prepaid plans. I don't need talk and text at all, all I really need is a decent amount of data. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Given that you're only here for a week, I'd recommend Three:

http://www.three.co.uk/Store/SIM/Pay_As_You_Go

They have Unlimited Data for £15.

You can't use that for tethering though.

Another option would be giffgaff, but you're not really going to be here for long enough to get that sorted.

Probably too late now but Tmobile has worked well for me. Just get an iPhone SIM in a shop for free, top up for £10 and then get an "internet booster" (http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/mobile-phones/price-plans/pay-as-you-go/boosters/) unlimited data (500Mb fair use and tethering worked the last time I tried, no VPN traffic though) for
- 5 days : £2.5
- 30 days : £5

Sometimes the Tmobile (now EE) network can get saturated though, especially when you're at a large even. I've seen O2 work fine in the same conditions. No similar offers from O2 though and I'm not sure there are MVNOs who use the O2 network.
