Check boxes in Safari don't register

Hi,

I am using ebay on Safari on a mac mini and when I go through to sell items, provide a description and try to check the box for the type of product, the page reloads saying I need to select a box! I did that already. So I can't proceed any further. It never used to happen. Anybody know why it does this?
