Hi,

I'm a script supervisor in Hollywood and use a Macbook Pro on set on one of those laptop stands (looks like a flat surface on top of a tripod). Everyone I know pastes velcro to the underside of their Macbooks and velcros the laptop on top of the flat surface, to prevent it from falling off.

I'd rather not stick velcro to my Macbook (unless there's one that can easily be removed but I doubt it) -- is there some chill pad or peripheral out there that I can "lock" the laptop to, and thus stick velcro the underside of that pad/peripheral?

A laptop case (e.g. Speck) is out of the question as I can't afford the laptop overheating (it will be on for almost 13 hours in a work day).

Thanks for any input!

Get one of those mats you put on your car dashboard to stop things falling off, just trim it down near the air intake and you should be ok
