Well, it's appropriate since Christie himself is YUUUUUGE. No doubt he's angling for a job in the inevitable Trump administration.

That's somewhat disappointing to see. I used to think that Christie wasn't too bad, but I guess this confirms that he has joined the Crazy wing of the GOP.

Trump and Christie said so many bad things about each other that this makes me laugh. Christie probably thinks he can be his VP and he'd be impeached within a year.

I was going to write that he got behind Trump, but figured that would bring forth some predictable responses.

I doubt Gov Christie would be Trump's choice for VP, but if Trump should get elected you'll likely see Gov Christie nominated for US Attorney General.

Great, now they can reenact Abbot and Cosello routines.

    I agree.

    Christie for Atty. General
    Palin for Dept, of Interior
    Joe Arpaio for DHS
    Dennis Roadman- Secy. of State.
Donald J. Trump Jr. for VP

At least we will get lot's of entertainment on the late night shows (assuming they don't get shut down) as we watch the country burn.

I like how these lefties backing far, far left wingnuts like Clinton and Sanders who advocate open borders, mass amnesty and off the hook social welfare worry about the country going down the tubes if one of their shills doesn't get into office.

Well, you've had 8 years and managed to quadruple our national debt, at least doubled the welfare rolls, added 1,000,000's of illegal aliens on our backs and have damn near turned the USA into a 2nd rate power - I'd say enough damage has been done.

Never thought too much about Christie. Being fat shows a lack of discipline and will power almost by default, and his Obama hug was damn near a kiss of death. But when he destroyed talking bot Rubio he earned some respect, the man is a forceful talker capable of answering a straight question, a rare quality for any politician.
So I think he'd make a fine addition to a Trump admin in some capacity.

Clinton? Far, far left? Even Sanders? Far, far left?

Laughable. You should gain an international view of politics and economics. Clinton is right-wing. Sanders is far closer to the centre.

What left-leaning politician do you view as far left and far-far left?

    Don't tell me.... Nobody. :)

He's been on the fringe of the party for quite a while. This seems like a natural move for him to maintain some kind of presence in the GOP, as part of the outlaw gang. :)

Christie and Trump are both north east power brokers. I wouldn't expect his endorsement to go anywhere else.

The tristate connection and background means they have quite a bit in common. Christie is an inside brawler and so is Trump.

Nope. I understand that in American politics the perspective is different and it gives you an excuse to shout "Communist!" at everybody, but it doesn't change much. Clinton is very much an establishment candidate with establishment politics. Sanders is not proposing anything radical. What Sanders is proposing, the nations of Europe, Oceania, and (your neighbours) North America did decades ago.

That's not the best way to look at it.

That logic is akin to saying the USA is being stabbed in the liver instead of the lung. Guess what, we are still being stabbed and it sucks.

11 million people is not okay or an improvement of substance. When it's down to more like 2 million, that's worth applauding.

A problem not getting worse isn't a bad thing...

And when it was getting worse keeping it level is a positive step.
