I’m all for anything that accelerates women’s rights to the point that I can be a nonworking house husband with a generous Home Depot allowance.

Planned Parenthood aside, I don't see the problem with this. Men need guy time. Women need girls time. No big deal.

I don't think the activity/venue matters all that much. They could be doing a Women's Only showing of Batman and I'd feel the same.

My church does Men's Only and Women's Only events all the time. Other than where the money is going it's no different.

What if a biological man shows up and says that he's a woman?

It's fine if it is voluntarily, refusing to do business with someone because of their sex isn't much different than refusing to business with someone due to their race or sexual orientation.

It's essentially a benefit screening - a private function. I see no problem here.

They're setting aside one 2-3 hour chunk of time, in one screening room, for just women. They're not "refusing to do business" with anyone.

    It's really not that serious.

The biggest problem with the upcoming Wonder Woman release has been the lack of promotion. This is a brilliant solution to that problem. Everybody is now talking about Wonder Woman.

A friend posted a picture of Robin Wright in costume as General Antiope. I'm not usually a big fan of superhero movies, but I'll make an exception in this case...

It's a private business. They should be free to do business as they see fit as long as it's not fraudolent. I think it's stupid, but the outrage Over this is even stupider. Just organize an all male screening of some Playboy movie.

If Alamo Drafthouse (best theater in the country, FYI) literally will not let men in, I can see there being a thing. But honestly, they do ladies night all the time. This isn't really a big deal
