does anyone know how i would set the button to add a the number integers to the UITextField.

It's not that hard once you're comfortable with the basics of iPhone development. Learn that first and then come back and ask again. And you'll have a better chance getting a response if you ask specific questions rather than something overly broad like "how do you make a calculator?"
