I recently bought an iBook 12", it's my first mac, and I preordered Tiger.

Since I've only had the machine for a week, and I'm new to Mac OS X, I have what seems like a simple question.

I want to just do a total clean install of Tiger when I get it, since I don't really have anything important on the machine yet. I just want to make sure I can reinstall iLife 05 after Tiger installs.

I messed around with the restore discs today just to become familiar, and there are 2 big options, reinstall OS X, or reinstall Apps. The Apps list isn't complete with all of iLife, and there's a note in the readme about choosing the Reinstall OS X to get them all back.

What's the easy way to do this?

Thanks.

What iLife app(s) are missing? If it's iTunes, that comes with Tiger, and I believe that iDVD comes separate from the Applications choice. Otherwise, do a search on versiontracker.com for Pacifist, and you can use that to extract specific applications. Hope it helps!
