Anyone get this game yet? Would love to see a review and some opinions.
Yeah, nobody has reviewed it yet (pc/mac version). That's why I just got Ghost Recon 2 instead of F2F. But from what I heard, it's a decent game that could use some fixes. I asked a guy on gameranger, he said it's good, but not the best, but worth buying. That's sort of what I expected to hear.
i just rented it for XBOX... hhhmmm 7/10
the team AI is cool , the rest average
graphics mediocre, the ability to pick up ammo and weapons from enemy and teamates is fun but limited, enemy is really stupid, maps are really twisted, but i am only in 2 mission
Hmmm...sounds like First to Fight wasn't quite ready for purchase yet.
Just installed it and have been playing it for a short while....
I'd agree with 7/10. It's not as great as I was expecting. Isn't as well-rounded a game as say any of the rainbow 6 series. oh well.
First to Flight is a great game. Integrated teamwork like never before seen... great multiplay... awesome engine that runs excellent on our platform... really fun gameplay... I think the game is great, especially for the price. I haven't played the xbox version... just the Mac version. I've been playing this game 90% of my gaming time. Anyone who wants a teamwork twist on a FPS with awesome graphics and stuff should check it out. 7/10? please...
FTF: I give it 9/10 because of
How awesome the graphics are (and how well it runs on Mac)
How awesome the teamwork is
How awesome the multiplay is
Cross platform compatibility
Simultaneous release (actually a little earlier) as PC
my hate for extremist factions.
Yes i play in on my powerbook and it runs great! No FSAA, but other than that, all options can be on... shadows and all. The game is totally GPU bound. The game gets slow based on your graphics card. My x800 G5 runs this at 1600x1200 with everything maxed without a problem or even a hickup. My laptop on the other hand... got to have FSAA off.
I so recommend this game! people w/867mhz Macs are running it!
So its worth playing on a 933 MHz?
I would say YES, if you've got a halfway decent video card. The game recommends a 9600 or better. You're ibook graphics processor is far below that. So NO, i don't think it'd be that enjoyable for you on that ibook. if you had a PM with a decent graphics card, i'd say hell ya!
I have one quick (silly) question.
Can the blood be turned off?
I don't care for blood and gore in these kind of games and prefer to turn it off.
