Everyone knows what he looks like I'm trying to figure out why CNN did this.

The Russians made them do it. ;)

And by the way, that is not trolling. It's a desperate attempt at trolling.
CNN and the rest of the media got really trolled by the people and Donnie back in November. Nothing will top that.

Because the WH banned camera, duh.
    --- Post Merged, Jun 23, 2017 ---

The WH said no cameras, they didn't say no sketch artists, nothing wrong with what they did.

To call attention to it. And probably to make fun of them. If Kelly Ann can be snarky, why can't CNN?

Probably also since this is more or less what newspapers did before photography came around. So if you ban photography they will do what they used to do.

Of course. Left with only audio, they could've used still-frames from a previous briefing. Left with no audio, they could've run with file footage from another briefing. The fact that they didn't means they intended to draw attention to the no-cameras policy. (That, and to troll them for it.)

The only question I have is...who's the hunchback at the bottom of the picture (center-left)?

    No...

If he's deformed, he's gotta be somebody from Breitbart.

Could just be a 'possum. Hard to tell 'em apart, what with the thick hillbilly accents and all...

They should bring in a stenographer while they're at it, to get an accurate word-by-word transcription of everything said. Then have an animator make an animation out of the sketches, and voice actors read the transcript, to recreate the video. If we're ok with them re-using animations of prior press briefings, they could have the voice actors read the live transcript from the stenographers, and broadcast it on TV in almost real time - 5 minute delay or so.

LOL. I was perfectly serious about the "hunchback"...but looking at it again, it's the back of a woman's head, with a three-quarter view of the face of the man sitting in front of her. The fact that it's a 2D pencil sketch makes the "hunchback" a trick of perspective.

Also, the dress is gold and white. :p

In all fairness it's really not that difficult to troll Trump anymore. He makes it wayyy too easy and then he has his little meltdowns, which are exactly the reaction his trolls expect and he never disappoints them.
