Sanchez is an idiot. It was only a matter of time. Here's to hoping the new head honcho at CNN can manage to get some interesting programming on to actually compete with Fox. Competition is a good thing, viewers win in the end.

The few times I've seen him, I thought he was a dim bulb. Way to ruin a career, letting a comedian get to you.

I read somewhere yesterday that AC is getting another show in the day-time. I'm guessing that will replace Sanchez.

^^Yeah, but that was in the works before any of this happened.

The best part of the interview was when he was talking about his Jewish friends in Florida, and how they were never persecuted. When the interviewer questioned that, Sanchez said that the worst that happened to them was that maybe some jokes were made about them. Basically no big deal.

Isn't that what his problem with Jon is? That Jon told some jokes about him?

    Hypocritical dummy.

I can't wait until Monday when Stewart will most likely make fun of this. :D

Colbert will probably come in and "back up" Sanchez's comments. :p

I think they better go full-bore on cloning Anderson, 'cause I don't think he's likely to reproduce himself anytime soon.

Listening to his interview I don't think he should have gotten fired for it. I was never a fan of him, and I'm a big fan of Jon Stewart, but I found this interview lightly controversial at best. This is just a bitter guy venting on a radio show.

Maybe not. I think Comedy Central's legal department may not allow both to comment on this if Sanchez files a lawsuit against CNN for wrongful termination.

I damn near shot milk out of my nose when I read this - and I'm not even drinking milk.

Jon Stewart isn't important, and neither is getting anybody off TV. If you don't want to watch these "blowhards," turn the friggin' TV off for once. It's actually quite easy.

Why would Sanchez sue for wrongful termination? Does he seriously expect to keep his job after bad mouthing his employer( ignoring the hate speech which may have violated company policy as well).

Also, according to CNN themselves it was Sanchez that left.
