Mine: Big liberal media communications company. Opened 24/7 to provide news and entertainment on our dozens of cable networks. Provided food for workers and their families if they wanted to come to work too all week. Had air matresses to sleep on. Had showers in gym open 24/7 for workers/families. If you made it in, great. If not, free day(s) off.

    Wife: teacher. Closed all week.

My husband and myself had the same experience.

    1) Large Corporation - Dozens of messages urging people to work at home if possible. Around noon on Monday, closed most sites from the mid-atlantic to northeast. Around 3pm on Monday, closed the remaining sites. Sites were closed on Tuesday as well. Has asked employees to donate to an employee disaster relief fund and has queried those in the affected areas if they need assistance. Other than that, no shelters or anything.
