Here's the problem: I've received a replacement iPhone from AT&T in October (warranty is expired) and it is dead now. Completely and totally. No hard reset, no soft reset, nothing on the screen, not recognized by iTunes. I brought it in to the Apple Store and he said that there was nothing he could do either. Is there any hope in fixing it? Help would be much appreciated, as life without an iPhone just isn't as fun.

You should see if they can repair if you can pay for the repair. Or possibly go to an authorized apple repair specialist and they can repair.

Alternatively, you can still sell it. And that will at least help with purchasing a new working one.

Some electronic repair shops will use the parts of the phone, so they'll still buy one that is not working at all.

Alternatively, you can go to gazelle and sell it to them. I did this with my iPhone 3G that was not working at all right before the iPhone 4S announcement and got $50 for it from gazelle. Which I was shocked at, since I said it wasn't working at all.
