Composite/Component Recording on MBP

Hi guys,

I want to record in game footage from one or two computer consoles (quite old) as part of a review. I only have the cables that are yellow (video); red and white for the stereo channels.

Is there some kind of medium-priced accessory and software on the market that would let me record the output effectively?

I had a search but didn't find what I was after as the search terms are quite specific. Was hoping someone here might help.

Some DV cameras have composite video input that will allow you to capture it through your camera. An alternate solution is to get an analog-to-digital video converter, such as the ones from Canopus (I have one, it's great).
