My wife's computer gave up the ghost a few weeks ago and the hard drive had a massive failure. We got her a new computer, but now we have the issue of how to get her iPhone synced with the new computer without losing data. In particular I don't want to lose music or calendar data that was sync'd with the old computer. How do I achieve this? I have the feeling that when I plug the iPhone into the new computer, a general wipe of data is going to occur. That will make her quite unhappy, particularly in the calendar arena.

If you were using iCloud to backup the calendar it'll all be there when you resync. If you rebuilt the computer using a Time Machine backup it'll be what it was last time it was backed up.
If you replaced her old Windows PC with another Windows PC shame on you :)

Going from old PC to new iMac. Now, here is the question, she was sync'ing that calendar with Outlook. So on the Phone it says "From My PC" for that calendar. How do I get THAT calendar sync'd back to something so that I can then put it into the cloud?
