    Not really mentioned in the article, but the role of Republican filibusters sure didn't help the Democratic agenda.

    I don't think anyone is happy with the Democrats, from moderate to liberal, we just all really, really dislike the neocons and extremists who have taken over the Republican party.

    I'm not sure I get this. I sympathize with the public's frustration, but what do they think the Democrats can do, snap their fingers and make it happen?

    bring on the percentages, that'll truly get the points across.

    I cant stand or even listen to articles or pundits who speak about %'s, numbers and approval ratings.

    Who cares about what some poll of people says. Give me more facts to base my own opinion on.

    Number based "facts", dont work.
