Hi guys, I've recently bought my first MBP and since I also have a Dell 27' monitor, I'd like to hook the MBP up to the big screen for movies and photo processings.
So given that mini displayport is the only video-out option on MBP and my Dell monitor only has a soundbar speaker (powered by the monitor but not built in), even if I got a mini displayport to HDMI cable (with audio capability) I would still need to connect that soundbar speaker to my MBP via the audio cable to get the sound right?
