Are you using a wireless router on your network? If so, the SSID is the name of your router. Go into your router configuration page and look for it.

I have a Coolpix P2 with wi-fi. Everything worked great until Leopard. Wi-fi is now dead, and Nikon couldn't care less.
Good luck.

You never answered my question. Is your mac connected to a wireless router and are you using Airport to connect to the router?

Also, what version of Leopard are you using (10.5, 10.5.1, 10.5.2 or 10.5.3)?

No - Time Capsule connected to cable modem via ethernet, MBP running on TC, under 10.5.3.
But wi-fi broke under 10.5 back in December and Nikon will not update their software. It worked under Tiger through and AirPort Express.

Your first link was for remote control of a digital SLR.
The second link - wireless setup utility - I have. It's for Tiger, not Leopard. And it works in conjunction with Nikon's Picture Project software, which hasn't been updated and is no longer offered. When you try to use these products under Leopard nothing works. You can't even use the USB cable with Picture Project. You have to import - via USB - into iPhoto.
It looks like the only answer is to buy a ne EyeFi SD card.
